1. To Ensure customer satisfaction through increasing percentage of population coverage by water supply from 67 % to 87 %, average daily consumption from 65 lpcd to 100 lpcd & improving water quality.

To make the water supply system sustainable through improvement of water resource management, financial management & human resource management by the decreasing operating ratio from 1.3 to 0.90, increasing collection efficiency from 54 % to 70 %, decreasing Non-revenue water from 38 % to 23 % & decreasing staff/1000 connection from 8.40 to 5.00.

1. To ensure customer satisfaction according to water demand up to 2035 through increasing population coverage by water supply from 71 % to 100 %, average daily consumption from 65 lpcd to 140 lpcd & improving water quality by producing 200 MLD potable water.
2. To make the water supply system sustainable through improvement of water resource management by 100% water supply from surface water sources

The main objective of the study is to conduct detailed feasibility study of Rajshahi water treatment plant & a full scale ESIA study for this project to finalize the most sustainable cost effective treatment plant considering all relevant technical, social, environmental, economic & institutional aspects

Construction of Rajshahi WASA surface water treatment plant to increase water supply and population coverage,  which will provide the water supply system as follows :

1. To ensure customer satisfaction according to water demand up to 2035 through increasing population coverage by water supply from 71 % to 100 %, average daily consumption from 65lpcd to 140 lpcd & improving water quality by producing 200 MLD potable water.
2. To make the water supply system sustainable through improvement of water resource management by 100% water supply from surface water sources.

To provide effective working establishment for staffs in order to plan, operate and manage the basic urban services up to desired satisfaction of the city dwellers To Improve physical environment and living condition of city dwellers. Rendering service facilities ensure effectively by establishing proper functional facilities.

To improve the human health & productivity & betterment of the living environment through the implementation of sustainable & effective maintenance of water supply service to as many people as possible.

1. To Ensure drinking water for slum dwellers through supplying water by pipe line 450 m and 03 nos water point.
2. To supply drinking water 24 hours for slum dwellers with minimum cost by installing water point
